“When I was growing up, all I ever wanted to be was either a Soldier, policeman, or priest. I wanted to make a positive and lasting difference in those around me. In some small way through my talents, time, selflessness, and generosity that I could make someone smile, help them through a difficult time, see the value in themselves, or achieve their life’s goals. For me, I didn’t want to sleepwalk through my day, my week, my year, and my life oblivious to what is going on around me. I want all my endeavors to have meaning.”
