It is the 1970s in Oakland County, Michigan. For countless middle-class families working for Detroit’s booming auto industry, life is good.

Plot
Dr. Charlie Taylor, a Michigan State Police Criminal Psychologist, was on a much-needed vacation. This was a time for Charlie to heal and recover—getting away from it all.
